Day of Formation & Exaltation of the Cross Mass in Downstate NY Section

The day of formation in downstate NY finished with Mass celebrated for the Exaltation of the Holy Cross at the Church of Our Saviour by Bishop James Massa, Rector of St. Joseph’s Seminary. The Homilist was Msgr. Kevin Sullivan, pastor of the church.

“Wedding of the Sea” celebration to mark the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Atlantic City, NJ. The Knights and Dames of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre from New Jersey participated in a special liturgy celebrated at the Hard Rock Hotel with Bishop Dennis Sullivan, Bishop of Camden. Pictured clockwise here are order members Christopher Simonetti and Josephine Marchetta with the children wreath bearers, the procession to the sea following Mass at the Hard Rock and Bishop Sullivan placing the wreath in the sea.

On Thursday, 11 July 2024, the Knights and Dames of the Diocese of Syracuse came together for a Mass and lunch In his inspirational homily, Bishop Emeritus Cunningham tied the spirit of St. Benedict, whose feast day was July 11, with the mission of the Order was inspirational.
Lunch followed at The Sherwood Inn giving members an opportunity to get reacquainted and discuss future initiatives. Bob McNeil, the recently appointed upstate President for the Eastern Lieutenancy, was also present. Bob presented an overview of his position and updates on developments within the Eastern Lieutenancy.
