Humanitarian Aid

As noted, the Catholic Church in the region, through its many social service programs, such as schools, homes for the elderly, outreach and assistance to marginalized communities such as migrants, refugees and the poor, is one of the largest providers of humanitarian aid. In times of emergency, the church’s clergy, religious and laity know who needs help the most, and utilize the aid directed by the order’s knights and dames effectively and wisely.
